Be Fit, Be with Friends, Become Focused, Before School!
WHO:
Any 1st-5th grade student at Blue Oak who can meet our school wide expectations of Responsible, Respectful, Safe, and Problem Solver. Especially those students who struggle with focus during the school day and need to MOVE.
WHAT:
A fun BEFORE school kid-focused workout in the morning designed to get kids physically, mentally, and emotionally ready for the school day.
WHEN:
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:30-7:50am
WHERE:
We meet at the blacktop unless it's raining, then we meet in the MP room.
WHY:
Exercise before school helps kids wake up their bodies and brains, giving them more energy to start the day. Studies show that physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, which improves focus, memory, and mood, leading to better classroom behavior and learning. We have the chance to promote long-term fitness, confidence, and overall well-being
